What CarePlans does

The protocol as data: define a plan once — HbA1c at day 90, foot exam at day 180 — and enrolling a patient materialises dated milestones in one transaction. The due list is the daily driver; a milestone is done, or skipped with a recorded reason, or loudly overdue.

How you actually use it

  1. Define the plan onceName it and list its milestones as day offsets — HbA1c at day 90, foot exam at day 180. The protocol becomes data instead of a poster in the corridor.
  2. Enrol the patientEvery milestone the plan owes them is created as a dated row in one go, against that patient.
  3. Work the due listThe next fourteen days, overdue at the top. That is the screen the team opens in the morning, and it is the whole of the app’s daily job.
  4. Close each one honestlyDone, or skipped with a reason the plan keeps. There is no reschedule verb in the schema at all, so a missed milestone stays overdue until somebody closes it.
  5. Stop a plan when it stops fittingWith a reason. The milestones that were already closed stay closed and readable.
