What COPDCare does

Annual spirometry, exacerbation counting with rescue-pack rules, pulmonary rehab enrolment, and home oxygen usage tracked from concentrator hours.

How you actually use it

  1. Enrol and the year is plannedEnrol on COPD care finds the patient and materialises the plan’s dated milestones in the same transaction; a patient already on COPD care is refused until the current enrolment is stopped.
  2. Score CAT once a dayA CAT total of 0 to 40, once per patient per day; a second score the same day is refused and so is a total off the scale.
  3. Log the exacerbationsModerate or severe, and whether it was treated with antibiotics, steroids, both or none; the log only grows, and the registry counts the last twelve months of it on every load.
  4. Keep home oxygen honestA prescription takes the flow rate, the hours a day and the resting SpO2 that justified it; the row is refused without a documented resting SpO2 of 92% or below, and a flow outside 0.5–15 L/min or hours outside 1–24 is refused too.
  5. One prescription at a timeA second active oxygen prescription is refused until the first is stopped, and the registry’s oxygen flag is read from that rather than stored.

What it writes

exacerbation recordsrehab enrolments
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not count a rescue-pack use as an exacerbation without the symptoms recorded.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
