What IBDFlare does

Flare diaries through the companion, calprotectin on cadence, biologic trough levels before dose decisions, and colonoscopy surveillance clocks by disease extent.

How you actually use it

  1. Enrol the patientFind the patient, choose Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis or IBD-unclassified, and press Enrol. A patient already on IBD flare care is refused a second enrolment.
  2. Record calprotectinOpen Detail and enter the faecal calprotectin in µg/g. The registry bands the latest result as remission, borderline or active on every load; the band is never stored.
  3. Log a flare and resolve itPick mild, moderate or severe, tick steroid course if one was given, and press Log flare. Resolve closes it, and a flare cannot resolve before it started.
  4. Log each biologic doseName the drug and, where it was measured, the trough in ng/mL. Doses are an append-only log, and the registry shows who is on a biologic.
  5. Read the registry rowEach patient carries the band, the last result, flares in the last twelve months, steroid courses, anything flaring now and what is overdue on their plan.
