What ICUBoard does

Hourly flowsheets fed by devices, early-warning scores computed in the open, and escalations that page a named person.

How you actually use it

  1. Read the boardEvery live ICU stay by bed, ventilated or self-ventilating, with the latest HR, MAP, SpO2, FiO2 and GCS beside the worst of the last 24 hours, both computed by the server.
  2. Chart the hourOpen Chart / goals and enter the values you have. An empty hour is refused, and a value outside the plausible range is refused as a glitch rather than an observation.
  3. Set today’s goalsA sedation target and a mobility goal, both required, and a tick for whether the family was updated. The board flags a stay with no goals today or a family not updated.
  4. Mark ventilation and the exitStarted ventilation and Weaned — off the ventilator switch the stay’s state. Out of the unit ends the ICU stay.
