Pharmacist guide

Dispensing, stock and the controlled-drug register; reads prescriptions, writes no chart.

The demo opens as Suresh Pillai, with invented patients. The pharmacy counter, stock on the shelf, and what is about to expire.
  • Every prescription dispensed and counselled
  • No stock-out of a fast mover
  • Expiring batches used or returned in time
  • The controlled-drug register balances every day

Where the pharmacist lands

Signing in as a pharmacist opens Pharmacy counter first. The sidebar keeps the screens below one click away; what you can open is whatever your practice’s role for you allows.

Rain

What to ask Rain

Rain is the assistant in every screen, by voice or text. These are requests the assistant is taught for this role. It reads only what you may read, and anything that changes a record comes back as a card you confirm.

  • “Open the dispense queue”
  • “Hand over Ramesh Kumar’s medicines, the dispense is ready”
  • “How many prescriptions are waiting to be dispensed?”
  • “Show pharmacy stock”
  • “Which medicines are below reorder level?”
  • “Which batches expire this month?”
  • “Open the controlled drug register”
  • “Show the reorder planner”
  • “Kitni parchiyan dispense ke liye baaki hain?”
  • “स्टॉक दिखाओ”
  • “Kaunsi dawai khatam hone wali hai?”

What Rain prepares for a pharmacist to confirm: create a to-do for yourself, a colleague or a team; complete a dispense already made up for a patient; mark one of your to-dos (or your team’s) done; issue a ward’s submitted indent from the store (what is still owed); refuse a ward’s submitted indent, with the reason; record stock used from a ward or room’s shelf; approve a request waiting on the maker-checker queue (a discount, a purchase, a write-off); reject a request waiting on the maker-checker queue, with the reason; approve a matched vendor invoice for payment; raise a maintenance ticket on a piece of equipment; start work on a maintenance ticket assigned to you; resolve a maintenance ticket you are working on, with the work done; close an action from a facility round as done.

Say “Brief me” for a spoken summary of your day. More in the Rain guide and on what each role says.
