What Partogram does

A digital partogram whose alert and action lines are computed on every read and stored nowhere. Entries are timestamped observations; crossing a line changes the labour’s status on the board — past the alert line, past the ACTION line — so the room can see it.

How you actually use it

  1. Admit in labourOn Admit in labour, find the mother, pick spontaneous or induced onset and whether the membranes are intact or ruptured now, then Admit. A patient has one active labour episode, and ruptured membranes carry the time they ruptured.
  2. Chart observationsChart opens the episode: cervix in cm, FHR, contractions per 10 minutes and their strength, then Chart it. Observations are charted on an episode still in labour; a strength without a rate is refused, and so is a reading outside the plausible range.
  3. Read the linesThe alert line rises 1 cm per hour from 4 cm and the action line sits four hours to its right. Both are computed from the charted observations on every load and never stored, so the board — latent phase, on the line, past the alert line, past the ACTION line — and the drawn chart cannot disagree. Hours behind the line is shown on the row.
  4. Record the deliveryDelivered — vaginal, Assisted or Emergency CS asks for a live birth or a stillbirth, confirms a stillbirth, and takes complications. A delivery closes an episode still in labour, once. The Nursery records the newborn against it.

What it reads

observationspatient record

What it writes

labour observationsdeliveries
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not recommend interventions, and it pages nobody: crossing a line marks the board, it does not call the on-call obstetrician.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
