What HMISBridge does

Government reporting for public and empanelled hospitals: the monthly HMIS indicators compiled from the registers the platform already keeps, format-matched for upload, with every figure traceable to its source rows — the month-end that used to take a week, done by Tuesday. Its Beds and census section adds total beds, bed-days, occupancy, discharges and average length of stay from the ward board’s census, each carrying the sentence that says how it was counted.

How you actually use it

  1. Open the monthPick the period and press Open return. A month that already has a return reopens it rather than starting a second.
  2. Compute it from the recordsCompute fills every element from the registers and the basis column names the table it counted. An element this deployment cannot count is opened at zero with a manual source, and its Basis / reason says the number was never computed and has to be put in by hand.
  3. Adjust with a reasonEdit lets a draft return say a different number from the records, and the service refuses the change without an adjustment reason. The records’ own figure stays beside it in the Records said column.
  4. Ready it, then mark it submittedReady needs a value against every element. Mark submitted works only on a readied return; nothing is uploaded from this screen because the HMIS portal is not connected.
  5. Record the acknowledgementRecord ack writes down the reference the portal gave the person who uploaded the return by hand. It is recorded once, on a return that has left draft.
