What IDSPReport does

Dengue, malaria, measles and the notifiable list extracted from diagnoses into IDSP S/P/L forms, with unusual clustering flagged to the district surveillance officer.

How you actually use it

Set the outbreak thresholdsOn the Outbreaks tab name a disease, a village or ward and the cases per week that count as an outbreak. Without a threshold nothing is flagged.
Enter cases, or count them off a visitThe Cases tab takes disease, age, sex, area, onset date and whether it was lab confirmed. The Syndromic tab lists today’s visits so a syndrome can be counted straight off one; a visit already counted for that syndrome is refused.
Prepare the weekOn the Weekly tab pick the Monday and the form (S, P or L) and press Prepare and scan. The line list is computed from the cases whose onset falls in that week, so a case keyed in late appears on the week it belongs to.
Investigate the alertsPreparing or scanning a week raises an alert wherever a disease in an area beat its threshold, and each alert shows its hours open against the investigation clock. Close it as contained, referred or false alarm; findings are required.
Record the acknowledgementIHIP is not connected. Record ack writes down the reference the portal gave the person who keyed the return in by hand.
