What it is

For a veterinary clinic, on the platform’s own engines. Each animal is registered at the desk like any patient, so its appointments, visits, prescriptions, dispensing and bills run on the clinic’s usual screens; VetDesk then completes its profile — species (or the one named), breed, sex and neutering, colour and microchip — and names the owner responsible for it, a person kept beside the record and never written into the patient registry, with every animal they bring. Each vaccination is recorded with its batch and the next date the vet sets from the vaccine’s label and the practice’s own protocol, so the desk sees what is due in the next month and what is overdue; no interval is assumed. Weights are kept as measured, for dosing by weight. A record closes with what happened. Only a veterinary practice keeps animals: the tables refuse them anywhere else.
