What FrontBooks does

The money month on one screen: collections by method and GST read straight from BillDesk’s own tables, the expense side entered here (voided with reasons, never edited), and the month as a CSV your accountant actually wants.

How you actually use it

  1. Read the monthCollected by method, billed with GST and refunds, read straight from the bills and payments and never copied; expenses by category from what you enter here; and collected minus expenses. Prev and Next move the month.
  2. Add the expensesDate, category — rent, salaries, consumables, equipment, utilities, marketing, statutory or other — amount, GST, vendor and a note. Void a wrong entry with a reason; it stays visible, marked voided, with the reason beside it.
  3. Export CSVThe month as one CSV the accountant can open: collections by method, the month’s bills with gross, tax and refunds, and every expense with its date, category, amount, GST, vendor and note — voided rows included, with the reason they were voided.
