What InsureVault does

Fire, equipment, professional indemnity and liability policies with coverage summaries, premium schedules, and claims tracked from intimation to settlement.

How you actually use it

  1. Record each policyKind, insurer, policy number, sum insured, premium, the dates it runs and how many days before expiry to be reminded. Cover must end after it starts, and a policy number already on file is refused.
  2. Watch the expiring listA policy inside its own reminder window, or already lapsed, is listed at the top of the screen with its end date.
  3. Renew into a new rowA renewal takes the new policy number and dates and writes a new row linked to the old one; last year’s policy is never edited.
  4. Intimate a claimUnder Claims give the incident date, what happened and the amount claimed. An incident date outside the policy’s cover is refused when the claim is intimated.
  5. Walk the claimSurveyed, then Settle with the amount actually paid, or Repudiate with the insurer’s written reason. The policy row shows its claims count, what was settled and the claims ratio.
