What ImplantRegistry does

Every implanted device — joint, mesh, pacemaker, lens — recorded with UDI, batch and site against the patient and the case. A manufacturer recall becomes a patient list in seconds, with outreach through consented channels.

How you actually use it

  1. See where the metal isEvery implanted device against its patient and its case — in situ or explanted, with manufacturer and serial.
  2. Raise a recall noticeDevice, manufacturer, severity and the source of the advisory you are acting on.
  3. It becomes a patient list, in secondsEveryone in the hospital carrying a matching device, split into contacted and not. If nobody matches, the notice says that too.
  4. Log every attemptMethod, outcome and date, per patient. A recall that reached nobody looks exactly like one that reached everybody without this.
  5. Close the recallIt will not close until everybody affected has an outcome recorded against them.
