What ExportDesk does

Any list the product shows, exported — once, or on a schedule that lands in your inbox or your spreadsheet every Monday morning. Exports respect the permissions of the person who set them up, are logged like the data access they are, and say exactly which columns went where.

How you actually use it

  1. Open Data OutExportDesk is the Files on a schedule card on the Data Out screen, below the continuous copies.
  2. Choose the list and the cadenceName the schedule, pick What from the export views the product publishes — where a view declares data classes the hint under it names them — choose Daily, Weekly or Monthly, and give the address to email it to.
  3. Schedule itThe database refuses a schedule with nowhere to go and a second schedule with the same name, and the creation is written to the audit log.
  4. Run it now, and read the last runRun now sends it at once. Every row shows when it last ran, how many rows went, and the error if the last run failed — a schedule that stopped stays visible rather than simply not arriving.

What it reads

whatever the requesting person may already read

What it writes

export filesan access log
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: PHI-lite.

What it does not do

It exports nothing its owner cannot open on screen, and it never forgets to write down that it did.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.

Questions clinics ask

What data does ExportDesk read and write?

ExportDesk reads whatever the requesting person may already read and writes export files, an access log. Its data class is PHI-lite. Every app works on the same patient record — nothing is copied into a silo.

What does ExportDesk deliberately not do?

It exports nothing its owner cannot open on screen, and it never forgets to write down that it did.

What happens to our data if we uninstall ExportDesk?

Schedules stop. The log of past exports stays — who took what out is a fact worth keeping.

Is ExportDesk available today?

Yes — ExportDesk is live in clinics today. Set up your practice on MedAppz and install it from your dashboard.
