What it is

The daughter who manages her father’s appointments, the son abroad who wants to know the medicines were collected: CareCircle already records who the patient named and what each may see — appointments, medicines, reports or bills — on the patient’s own consent. FamilyLink gives each of them a link of their own that opens exactly that, read-only, clearly labelled — “You’re viewing Asha’s care as daughter”. The scopes are read fresh on every visit, so narrowing one at the desk narrows the next page load; removing the member from the circle withdraws the consent and ends the link in the same instant. Every view and every download is written to the audit trail against the patient, naming the family member who looked.

How it works

Add the family member to the circleOn Care Circle, with the patient’s consent: name, relation, phone, and what they may see — appointments, medicines, reports, bills.
Make their family linkPress Family link beside them. The link is copied once; send it to them yourself. It is never shown again.
They see only what the patient choseTheir page says whose care it is and as whom they are viewing it, and shows only those scopes, read-only.
Change or end it any timeNarrow a scope and their next visit narrows with it. Switch the link off, or remove them from the circle, and it stops working at once.

Rules it keeps

What it does not do, by design. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.

It lets a family member do nothing on the patient’s behalf: no booking, no ticking doses, no uploads, no questions to the doctor and no payments — it is a window, not a key.

It shows nothing outside the scopes the patient chose, and no link is stored in a readable form, so a lost link is replaced rather than re-sent.

It does not decide who belongs in the circle; CareCircle and the patient’s consent do.
