What FollowThru does

Inside the consult, the doctor picks the follow-up interval — three days to three months — and real open slots from SlotGrid appear around the due date. One tap books it through the same engine that refuses double-booking, and the patient leaves with the appointment made. Recalls for follow-ups that were never booked arrive next.

How you actually use it

  1. Open the visit’s Follow-up tabFollowThru is the Follow-up card inside the consultation, reached from Today’s Queue with Open chart.
  2. Pick the intervalThree days, a week, two weeks, a month or three months. The open slots in the diary for the week from that date are listed.
  3. Tap the slotIt is booked through the same scheduling engine as every other appointment, referenced to this visit, and a slot taken in the meantime is refused rather than double-booked.
  4. Or add to the recall list insteadWhen no slot suits, the recall is raised with the interval and the visit it came from, and the desk chases the booking from the recall list.
