What CareCrew does

Coordination for informal caregivers: medications, appointments and tasks shared across the family with clear owners, condition-specific guidance (dementia first), the patient’s trajectory visible to those caring, and connection to respite and professional help before burnout, not after.

How you actually use it

  1. Name the patientThe Patient card takes the patient id and says what this board is not: who may see what is CareCircle’s, and this one is only about who is doing what.
  2. Fill today’s rotaWho is coming… offers the patient’s active circle members, Morning, Afternoon or Night is the part of day, and Take the slot claims it; a second claim on the same slot is refused, and Nobody has: names the parts of today still uncovered.
  3. Assign the workWhat needs doing, a due date, either a circle member or a typed helper name, Normal or Urgent, then Assign; a task goes to exactly one of the two, and a member whose access the patient revoked produces no row at all.
  4. Close it or decline itDone closes an open task; Decline asks for Not available, Cannot do this one, Someone else did it or Not needed any more, and the declined task stays on the record with that reason rather than vanishing.
  5. Post to the shared notesA line for the family goes on an append-only thread — the database withdraws the update grant and a trigger refuses one anyway, so a note posted here cannot be edited afterwards.

What it reads

What it writes

task assignmentscaregiver notes
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not see anything the patient (or their legal proxy) has not scoped — CareCircle’s consent rules are the floor.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
