What InfectionWatch does

CLABSI, CAUTI, VAP and SSI surveillance with denominators from real device-days; bundle compliance and hand-hygiene audits on schedule; two linked isolates open a line list, not a rumour.

How you actually use it

  1. Record the casesCLABSI, CAUTI, VAP, SSI — the kind, the organism, the patient. Confirm the ones that are confirmed.
  2. Feed the denominatorsDevice-days per kind. With no device-days there is no rate, and the page says so rather than dividing by an estimate.
  3. Audit the bundlesCompliance on schedule, and "what was missed" is a required field on anything that failed.
  4. Declare an outbreakTwo linked isolates open a line list. It is append-only — a case is added, never quietly removed once the numbers become awkward.

What it writes

surveillance recordsline lists
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not compute rates from estimated denominators — no device-day data, no rate.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
