In plain words: Informed consent patients understand and courts accept.

What ConsentStudio does

Procedure-specific consent with named risks and frequencies, in the patient’s language, with a teach-back question before signing. Video consent supported; the signed artefact stores what was shown, in which language, by whom.

How you actually use it

  1. Draft the form for one procedureWith that procedure’s own named risks in your words, in the patient’s language and at a reading level you pick. MedAppz ships no risk library and will not invent one for you.
  2. Publish the versionAfter that it is changed by publishing a new one, so the wording somebody signed is still readable years later.
  3. Take the consent in the roomThe language actually used, the interpreter by name — an unnamed one is unverifiable — the minutes spent explaining, and a teach-back question before the signature.
  4. Look up a patient’s consent historyWhat was signed, in which language, by whom, and what was withdrawn and why.

What it reads

procedurespatient record

What it writes

consent artefactsteach-back results
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not offer a generic all-risks form — a consent without procedure-specific risks refuses to finalise.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
