Short consent clips in the patient’s language, watched, checked and signed on their phone.
Installs with ConsentStudio, whose screen it works onThe consent conversation as a short clip the patient watches on their own phone, in their own language. A clip explains one of your published ConsentStudio forms in a few chapters — what will happen, the risks, the other choices, getting better — each with a caption and a running time, read aloud by the phone in the language the patient picks. Rain can draft the captions in another language for you to correct before you save them. You send the link with a witness named on it. The patient watches through, answers one check question (a wrong answer sends them back to the chapter that explains it), can ask the surgeon a question, and signs with a finger. The signature is only possible after the whole clip and the right answer — the database refuses it otherwise. The consent is then taken when the named witness countersigns from their own sign-in, and ConsentStudio writes it to the consent register with the language, the minutes watched and the answer as evidence.
What it does not do, by design. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
