What EduPrints does

Condition and procedure leaflets in the patient’s language, attached to the visit, printed at the desk or sent by consented channel.

How you actually use it

  1. Write the leafletA title, a condition tag, a language code and the body in markdown — the words the patient will hold; the same title twice in one language is refused.
  2. Have a clinician review itOnly a reviewed leaflet can be issued: the insert selects on that status, so a draft has no Issue button and no way round it.
  3. An edit sends it back to draftEditing a reviewed leaflet returns it to draft in the same statement, because what the clinician reviewed is the words rather than the row id.
  4. Issue it to the patientFind the patient and issue the leaflet, printed or sent to the portal; the issues are listed against that patient with the channel each went out on.

What it reads

visit contextconsents

What it writes

leaflet dispatches
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: PHI-lite.

What it does not do

It does not substitute a leaflet for a consent conversation.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
