What ChemoChair does

Chairs, durations and pharmacy prep sequenced so the patient, the drug and the chair arrive at the same time.

How you actually use it

  1. Register the unit’s chairsAdd chair asks for a name such as Bay 3; a second chair of that name is refused, and Retire takes one off the board.
  2. Read the day boardDay board — chairs × slots draws every chair against every slot with the empty cells shown; on the timeline a stamped walk is a solid block and a booking with no stamp yet is a dashed outline across its slot half, which the caption says in words.
  3. Book a chairFind the patient, choose the chair and morning or afternoon; a chair already taken for that slot is refused, and so is a second chair for the same patient on the same day.
  4. Check in, seat, completeThe three buttons stamp once each and only in that order — a patient sits after checking in, and a session completes from the chair.
  5. Print the dayPrint day board prints the day’s bookings, with the regimen and cycle number on any booking that carries a protocol cycle — a cycle is attached when the booking is made against one, not from this card.
