What TrialDesk does

Study registers with screening logs, consented enrolment, visit calendars per protocol, deviation reporting, and monitor-ready source-data linkage to the record.

How you actually use it

  1. Register the study, then its ethics approvalThe protocol number, title, phase and sponsor open a study in setup, and the ethics reference and approval date are recorded while it is still there — a duplicate protocol number at this site is refused.
  2. Open enrolmentA CHECK refuses opening enrolment without both the ethics reference and the date it was approved, whichever code path asks.
  3. Screen, then enrolScreening happens only while the study is enrolling, a screen failure has to say what failed, eligibility is recorded before enrolment rather than after, and enrolment needs an eligible participant and a consent record taken in the same transaction.
  4. Record the visitsEnrolment materialises the protocol’s visit template into dated visits, and a visit recorded by somebody who is not on the delegation log is refused by the update’s own WHERE.
  5. Let the deviations write themselvesCompleting a visit outside its protocol window writes its own deviation row in the same transaction, computed from the window — the site does not get to decide whether the deviation it just committed is recorded.

What it reads

patient recordprotocols

What it writes

enrolmentsvisitsdeviations
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not enrol a patient whose consent version predates the current protocol amendment.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
