A practice runs backups MedAppz cannot see: the accounts server, the PACS, the CCTV recorder, a shared drive. Each is listed with where it goes, how often it runs, who checks it and, if the practice wants one, how often a test restore is due. Every run is confirmed by a named person — ran, partly ran or failed, a failure with what went wrong — so the list shows which backups nobody has confirmed yet and which failed, first. A test restore names the file or day recovered and whether it opened, because a backup never restored is only a hope; one past the practice’s own interval shows as due. MedAppz’s own nightly backup of the practice’s records is shown beside them, read from the state file the backup job writes, and a full copy of the practice’s data is one step away in Export all your data.
