What EquipRental does

Concentrators, cuffs, glucometers and beds rented to patients with deposits, return schedules, and a mandatory sanitisation record between borrowers.

How you actually use it

  1. Put the units on the registerEach bed, chair or concentrator takes an asset identifier such as WC-04 and the deposit it goes out on; the same identifier twice is refused.
  2. Lend itFind the patient, pick from the available units, set the date it is due back and the deposit taken; only what is actually available is offered, and the empty state says whether everything is out or waiting to be sanitised.
  3. Take it backA return records whether it came back fine or damaged — damaged has to say how, because "damaged" on its own is a shrug — with any deposit refunded and the name of whoever approved that refund; a refund larger than the deposit taken is refused, and a loan returns once.
  4. The gap between two loansReturning puts the unit into sanitising and only Record clean moves it back to available, so it cannot go straight from one house to the next; retiring a unit works only from available.
  5. Read the overdue listOverdue is the first card: loans with no return recorded whose due date has passed on the clinic’s own calendar, with how many days over, computed on every load.
