What it is

For practices in the European Union, under the European Health Data Space (Regulation (EU) 2025/327), whose first cross-border categories are the patient summary and the ePrescription, exchanged through MyHealth@EU. Find the patient and prepare their summary — active allergies, current medicines and active problems as an HL7 International Patient Summary, a section with nothing recorded saying so rather than “none known” — or prepare a signed prescription as the ePrescription. Before it can be readied, a person records how the patient agreed to that exchange: each exchange carries the consent that permitted it. It is sent through your country’s national contact point once the contact point admits your practice and an administrator enters the access it gives you; until then nothing leaves.
