What ChairSide does

Tooth-level charting, staged treatment plans priced from your tariff, and lab-case tracking from impression to fit.

How you actually use it

  1. Open the mouthFind the patient and the chart draws as two FDI arches; a tooth carrying findings takes the gravest tint of the ones it has — missing, caries or fracture, mobility, impaction or attrition, then filling, crown or root canal.
  2. Chart on a toothClick the tooth, choose the finding, add a note if it needs one and press Chart on that tooth; anything that is not an FDI code — permanent 11–48, primary 51–85 — is refused, and nothing on this screen edits or removes a finding once it is charted.
  3. Draft the plan from the tariffName the plan, then add each item by picking the service from the tariff with an optional tooth and a stage number; the unit amount is quoted by the pricing engine on the day the item is added, never typed.
  4. Accept, which freezes the pricesAccept — freezes prices needs at least one item, and after it no item can be added or removed; Print quote prints the itemised plan with the clinic’s name and the line saying the quote is valid for 30 days.
  5. Work it, then complete itDone marks each item on an accepted plan, Complete is offered only once every item is done, and Cancel asks for a reason on a draft or an accepted plan.
