SpecimenTrack

● live in clinics

Surgical specimens custody-chained from theatre to histopath.

Clinical · Full PHI · General Surgery · Diagnostics & Labs

What SpecimenTrack does

Every specimen labelled in theatre, scanned at each handover, reconciled at the lab bench against the op note’s specimen list. A specimen the op note promised but the lab never received is an alarm, not a discovery at follow-up.

What it reads

operative notesbarcodes

What it writes

custody eventsreconciliations
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not let the pathology report finalise while a listed specimen is unaccounted for.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
