What PMJAYDesk does

Beneficiary verification at the desk, package selection with rates, pre-authorisation with document checklists, and claims tracked to settlement — the scheme, without the cyber-café.

How you actually use it

  1. Start on the worklistThe Worklist tab holds packets in four buckets — never sent, no response past the silence threshold shown in its title, query open, and approved with no claim linked — and every row prints the dated fact that put it there.
  2. Record the cardOn Cards, find the patient and enter the family id and card number, then verify by card, Aadhaar OTP, biometric or manual — the database refuses a second active record for a card number another patient holds.
  3. Build the pre-auth packetOn Pre-auth, choose the beneficiary and the package, say how many documents are attached and write the clinical notes, and the packet keeps the package rate as it stood that day even after the master is revised.
  4. Submit it and record what came backSubmit moves a drafted or queried packet on, Approve takes the sanctioned amount, Query and Reject each take the reason they gave, and Portal ref records the reference a person was given on the national portal — nothing here talks to the TMS.
  5. Link the claimLink claim attaches an approved packet to its ClaimsLine claim, which is what takes it off the approved-with-no-claim bucket on the worklist.
