What CardCounter does

The end-of-day question — “does what the machines took match what the system billed?” — answered as a report instead of an argument. Gateway settlements, UPI credits and card-machine batches are matched against the day’s recorded payments; what matches is ticked, what doesn’t is a named difference someone can chase.

How you actually use it

  1. Read the positionWhat each processor took, what it has settled and what it still owes; cash and bank transfers never appear here because they clear through nobody.
  2. Find unsettled paymentsSet the days and press Find unsettled; every payment older than that with no settlement line becomes a named difference.
  3. Chase the differencesEach difference says what happened — taken but never settled, settled for a different amount, settled money we never recorded taking, settled twice — with the expected and actual amounts; Close with a reason writes a note, never a payment.
  4. Read the machines and the batchMachines & batch lists the card machines with when each was last heard from, and the card and UPI payments not yet matched to a settlement line.

What it reads

recorded paymentssettlement records

What it writes

reconciliation runsflagged differences
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: No PHI.

What it does not do

It never invents a match — an unmatched paisa stays visibly unmatched until a person resolves it with a reason.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
