How it works

  1. Explain a billPaste a bill id and press Explain, or press Explain on a bill in the Reports tab; every line is fetched fresh and shown as what it is, quantity, unit price, total and the scheme covering it — nothing here is a stored copy.
  2. Write the note for the patientOne note per bill; rewriting replaces it and the bill itself is untouched.
  3. Record the questionRaise a query with the line as the person described it, the question and whether the patient asked or we noticed; attaching the bill line id is what makes the most-queried list real.
  4. Answer with an outcomeExplained, Corrected or Waived; Corrected needs the reference of the credit note, adjustment or void made in billing, because BillCheck never edits a bill.
  5. Read the Unanswered and Reports tabsUnanswered lists what is still open across bills; Reports shows the most queried services and the bills by how many questions they caused.

Rules it keeps

What it does not do, by design. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.

It does not store card details — payment always hands off to the processor, and a query pauses collection follow-up.

AskQuestions about what is on screen — “What needs attention in BillCheck today?” — answered with the records it read.
