What CGHSDesk does

Panel-wise rate cards, referral validity checks, permission letters filed against admissions, and panel billing that reconciles with the ledger.

How you actually use it

  1. Register the empanelmentPanels & rates takes the scheme — CGHS, ECHS, ESI or a state scheme — the panel name, the empanelment number and the date it runs from; the same empanelment number twice on one scheme is refused.
  2. Put the panel’s own rates on itA billing rule is a procedure, the rate that panel agreed and whether it wants prior permission; one panel holds one rule per procedure.
  3. Check the cardCard checks finds the patient, then takes a currently valid panel, the card or service number and general, semi-private or private; a panel that works off a referral cannot be verified without the referral document reference.
  4. Raise the bill and read the gapRaise a panel bill against a verified card and a rule with what was claimed; the Reconciliation table shows the panel rate beside the claimed amount, the gap in rupees and per cent, and a basis line naming the rule and the entitlement the comparison rests on — all computed on read.
  5. Permission before the claimWhere the panel wanted prior permission, Link claim does not appear until Record approval has put the reference on the bill; Portal ref records what the panel portal gave back, and nothing is submitted from this screen.
