Takes a card deposit at the moment of booking through Stripe — card, ACH, BACS or BECS depending on the country — so a slot is held against a real payment instead of a name on a calendar. The deposit reconciles against the visit’s own bill when the patient is seen.
It does not store card details itself — Stripe holds the card, and this app keeps only the reference and the reconciliation, the same discipline PayRails already uses for other rails.
