What Loyalty Points does

A loyalty programme the till can trust. A patient joins with a recorded consent — there is no other way in — and earns points automatically when a bill is actually paid, split fairly across what the bill was for. Points are spent right on the bill at checkout, tiers (silver, gold and so on) are worked out live from what a member really earned, and points that are about to lapse warn the member 14 days ahead instead of vanishing quietly. A refund takes its points back the same way they came. Finance sees the outstanding points liability as a number with its working shown.

How you actually use it

  1. Start the program, and set its tiers and rulesUnder Program: the name, how members join, points per ₹100 paid, ₹ per point at redemption, the most a bill can take, and whether points expire. Each tier names the points to earn in twelve months and what it gives, and a member’s tier is worked out from the ledger each time it is read; earning rules override the rate per service family and add a first-visit bonus or a birthday-month multiplier.
  2. Enrol with consent recorded firstUnder Members, find the patient and press Record consent + enrol. The service refuses a membership with no consent record to attach it to.
  3. Let the till do the earningPoints are credited when a payment is recorded, not when a bill is raised; the billing screen offers the points a member can spend against a draft bill.
  4. Open a memberThe ledger lists every movement — the reason where a person gave one, the money where it was an earn or a burn against a bill. Adjust points takes a second person as Checked by, and that person cannot be the one making the adjustment. Issue a voucher takes a ₹ value and a Valid until date.
  5. Read the Money tabOutstanding points, what they are worth and how many members hold them, with the basis printed under the figures.

What it reads

paid billsconsents

What it writes

membersa signed point ledgerredemptionsvouchers
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: PHI-lite.

What it does not do

It never enrols anyone without consent, never rewards referrals with money (points are for patients, not for kickbacks), and never edits a bill — a redemption goes through billing’s own arithmetic.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.

Questions clinics ask

What data does Loyalty Points read and write?

Loyalty Points reads paid bills, consents and writes members, a signed point ledger, redemptions, vouchers. Its data class is PHI-lite. Every app works on the same patient record — nothing is copied into a silo.

What does Loyalty Points deliberately not do?

It never enrols anyone without consent, never rewards referrals with money (points are for patients, not for kickbacks), and never edits a bill — a redemption goes through billing’s own arithmetic.

What happens to our data if we uninstall Loyalty Points?

Earning and spending stop at once. The ledger stays readable so a member’s balance history and the finance liability can still be answered.
