What RefundLine does

Refund requests with reasons, maker-checker approvals, processing clocks the patient can see, and reconciliation into the day close.

How you actually use it

  1. Check what is left to give backRaise a refund takes the bill id and shows what was paid, what has already been refunded or requested, and what is left — a request for more than that is refused rather than adjusted.
  2. Raise the requestGive the id of the payment the money came in on, the amount, a reason — paid twice, service not given, overcharged, cancelled or goodwill — and optionally where it goes back to.
  3. Approve with the date the patient is toldApprove takes a promised date and the server refuses an approver who raised the request; Reject takes a reason the patient can be told.
  4. Pay it outRecord the payout takes cash, bank transfer, UPI or card reversal, and everything but cash is refused without its reference — the UTR, UPI transaction id or reversal id.
  5. Watch the promises that slipPromises that have slipped is the first card on the screen, listing every approved and unpaid refund whose promised date has passed with the days it is late.
