DenialWorks

Claim denials worked like a queue, not a folder.

In plain words: Work rejected claims to appeal and recovery.

What DenialWorks does

Denials land as work items with reasons coded, appeal deadlines on clocks, and recovery tracked to the rupee.

How you actually use it

  1. Open a work-item on a denied claimDenials without a work-item is the first card, and one click opens one; a claim the insurer did not deny is refused, and a denial that already has an open item is refused too.
  2. Give it an owner and a dateAssign picks who owns it and by when; only an open work-item can be assigned.
  3. Read the age from the denial itselfThe queue runs oldest denial first and every row ages from the claim’s own denial event, computed on read — this app reads ClaimsLine’s claims and never alters them.
  4. Log the workCalled, appealed, resubmitted, written off or recovered, each with what happened; the log only grows and a resolved item takes no more work.
  5. Resolve with an outcomeRecovered, written off or exhausted; recovered asks the amount that actually came back, and an amount on any other outcome is refused.

What it writes

appealsresolutions
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: PHI-lite.

What it does not do

It does not write off a denial silently — write-offs are approvals.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
