What it is

Attendant passes with photos and ward rules, visitor windows enforced kindly, and an evacuation-ready census of who is in the building. Visitor services adds the attendant guide — places to stay with the rate as each place quotes it, places to eat, where to park and the ward’s own visiting rules, in the hospital’s words and printed for every family (nothing is booked); staff badges, each issued against a staff record with the doors or systems it opens, a leaver’s badge listed as due back until it is collected or reported lost, and its deactivation in the access system recorded as its own step (nothing drives a lock); and parking, with staff slots allotted one holder at a time, visitors’ vehicles logged in and out by token, and any vehicle found by its number the day the lane has to be cleared (nothing drives a barrier).

How it works

Issue the passPick the admission and name the visitor and their relation; passes attach to open admissions, so a closed one is refused.
Print itThe printed pass carries the visitor, who they are visiting, the ward and bed, the date and the last characters of the pass id.
Check them in and outBeing inside is an open row: a check-in requires a live pass on an open admission, and a partial unique index refuses a second in before the out.
Read who is insideInside now counts the people in each ward and lists them by name with the time they came in, computed on every load and stored nowhere.
Guide, badges and parkingOn Visitor services, write the attendant guide in your own words and print it; issue staff badges with what they open, collect a leaver’s badge from the due-back list and record its deactivation; add parking slots, allot staff slots one holder at a time, log visitors’ vehicles in and out by token, and find any vehicle by its number. Revoking a pass takes a reason, and the check-in is refused after it.

Rules it keeps

What it does not do, by design. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
