What VisionSuite does

Refraction workflows, biometry-fed IOL power calculations and visual field results stored as structured observations.

How you actually use it

  1. Record the refraction per eyeSphere, cylinder, axis, add and the visual acuity, one row per eye — a cylinder without an axis is refused as half a prescription, and the acuity ladder draws where each eye landed.
  2. Draft the IOL calculationAxial length, K1, K2, the formula, the target and the lens model; an eye that already has an unsigned calculation is refused until that one is finished or signed.
  3. Sign itA calculation signs only with a recommended lens power, signs once, and is then frozen — every edit path is guarded on the signature being absent.
  4. Record the visual field honestlyMD and PSD go in with the reliability; an unreliable field cannot carry an interpretation and has to say why it was unreliable instead.
  5. Read the MD trendMD trend — reliable fields only computes the change between serial fields in the SELECT, and an unreliable one never enters it.

What it writes

Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not pick the lens. It shows the formulae, their inputs, and the surgeon signs.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.

Questions clinics ask

What data does VisionSuite read and write?

VisionSuite reads observations, device results and writes refractions, IOL calculations. Its data class is Full PHI. Every app works on the same patient record — nothing is copied into a silo.

What does VisionSuite deliberately not do?

It does not pick the lens. It shows the formulae, their inputs, and the surgeon signs.

What happens to our data if we uninstall VisionSuite?

All clinical data stays in the record.

Is VisionSuite available today?

Yes — VisionSuite is live in clinics today. Set up your practice on MedAppz and install it from your dashboard.
