What it is

An ayurveda, homeopathy, unani, siddha, yoga-and-naturopathy or Sowa-Rigpa consult recorded beside the allopathic one, on the same patient — with the system of medicine stamped on the consult and on every formulation, therapy, regimen and diet under it. The herb-drug flag reuses the interaction engine RxCanvas already has rather than starting a second one: the herbs on each entry are checked against what the patient is currently prescribed. Programmes: the Prakriti a Vaidya records — Vata, Pitta and Kapha scores from the instrument they name — kept on the file as the baseline later consults start from; and yoga therapy, naturopathy and Siddha Varmam courses for a condition already assessed, with the plan as the practitioner wrote it (asanas and pranayama, hydrotherapy or mud therapy or a diet cure, the Varmam points), the outcome measure they chose with a baseline, and every session logged — attended or missed, what was given, the score that day and the response.

How it works

Open a consult on the New consult tabPick the patient, the system of medicine — Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Siddha, Yoga & naturopathy or Sowa-Rigpa — the practitioner and the presenting complaint; the system is stamped on the consult and cannot be changed afterwards.
Add what was givenOn This consult, add each Formulation, Therapy, Regimen or Diet with its name, the herbs in it, dose, anupana and days; every entry carries the consult’s system of medicine.
Read Herb against drugThe check reads the herbs on each entry against what the patient is currently prescribed; with no licensed dataset loaded the card says nothing was checked — silence, not clearance.
Close the consultClose consult ends it; the Consults tab lists open ones by default, with Show closed too for the rest.
Prakriti and therapy coursesOn Programmes, Prakriti records the Vata, Pitta and Kapha scores from the instrument the Vaidya names and keeps the newest as the baseline; Yoga therapy, Naturopathy and Varmam start a course for an assessed condition with the plan, the outcome measure and a baseline, then log each session — attended or missed, what was given, the score and the response.

Rules it keeps
