What it is

For eye chains. Every branch’s cataract eyes side by side, read where CataractIOLPathway already reads them — the signed IOL calculation and the post-op refraction on VisionSuite, the operation on CaseLine — inside each branch, as totals only. Volume and surgery mix in the branches’ own procedure names; the refractive outcome as the share of eyes within ±0.5 D and ±1.0 D of the signed target, the measures the Royal College of Ophthalmologists’ National Ophthalmology Database audit reports; and the post-op acuity in WHO’s cataract outcome bands (good 6/6–6/18, borderline to 6/60, poor worse, WHO/PBL/98.68), read from what the branch wrote and never guessed when it cannot be read. No target ships: each branch is set beside the chain’s own pooled figure. Each branch decides whether its outcomes are shared with the group; another branch’s count of 1 to 4 eyes is hidden and its rates shown only over 5 or more, while your own figures are exact.
