What AttendancePunch does

Punches from biometric or geo-fenced phones matched to StaffDesk rotas — late, absent, and unplanned-overtime surface daily, disputes resolve against the punch log.

How you actually use it

  1. Record a punchPick who, In or Out and Web or Biometric, then press Record; a double-tap is one punch, and a punch typed in by hand goes through Correct a day instead, with a reason and an approver.
  2. Read the reconciled dayEvery row — shift, in and out, worked, scheduled, variance and the verdict ok, short, overtime, absent or leave — is computed by the server on every request from the punch log and the rota.
  3. Work the exceptions cardDays the punches cannot describe are listed with the reason, filtered by person and by 7, 14 or 30 days.
  4. Correct a dayGive the in and out times, why the day is being corrected and who approved it; nobody approves their own correction, the out time must come after the in time, and a day is corrected once.
