What it is

Occupational therapy with ADL scoring, home-environment assessments with photo evidence, equipment recommendations tracked to delivery, and independence goals reviewed. Specialty work on a course: a child’s sensory profile system by system (seeks, avoids, low registration, sensitive, typical) on the assessment tool the therapist names, and session plans that may only work on systems the profile records; after an injury at work, the workstation assessed (seating, reach, repetitive movement) and the return to work staged in hours and duties, each stage starting only when the last is done, with fitness to work left to the occupational-health sign-off; and hand splints with design, material and wear schedule, reviewed for oedema at a named site, total active motion and skin, then continued, modified, remade (the new splint names the old) or stopped.

How it works

Plan a courseOn Plan a course, find the patient, say what limits independence and how many sessions are planned, then Plan course. A patient has one open OT course at a time.
Write ADL goals, start, and scoreAdd goal on the course; Start course is refused until at least one ADL goal is written. Barthel 0–100, then Record score, each later score against the baseline; Record session takes attended or no-show with a note, on an active course only.
Specialty work on a courseOn Specialty work, pick sensory integration, workstation and return to work, or hand splints, then a course. Record the sensory profile system by system on the tool you name and plan sessions only from it; assess the workstation and add return-to-work stages, each starting when the one before is done; record a splint and its wear schedule, and review oedema, motion and skin to continue, modify, remake or stop.
Home visits and equipmentRecord visit with hazards found and modifications recommended. Prescribe adds an item that shows as awaiting issue until Mark issued — every recommendation carries a status.
Complete with a final BarthelComplete needs the outcome summary and a final Barthel, and is refused while any goal is open — each is marked Achieved or Abandon with a reason first. Close early takes a reason instead.
