What FieldGuide does

A community health worker’s village round is a camp — a place, a date, a queue of people with no records, a blood pressure and a sugar, and a referral for the ones who need one — and that register ships inside CampKit (Health Camps) rather than as an app of its own. What was added there for this idea is the field sync, POST /campkit/field/sync: a whole round arrives in one transaction, deduplicated by the identifiers the device generated, so a replayed batch creates nothing. That endpoint has no device app behind it yet — the camp desk works online, and nothing in this product captures a round without a signal. What is left of this idea is the part that needs data the product does not hold: the treat-or-refer pathways for fever, pregnancy danger signs, chest pain and paediatric diarrhoea are clinical protocols, and none is typed here.

What it reads

camp registrations and referrals

What it writes

nothing — the round is CampKit’s
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not decide between treating and referring — no protocol pathway is typed into this product, so that decision stays with the worker and the supervising doctor. It does not work offline today: the sync endpoint is the contract for a device app that has not been built.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
