A bedside check before each blood unit goes up: scan the patient’s wristband and the bag, and a mismatch stops the transfusion rather than logging a warning afterwards. Vitals and reaction signs are then recorded on a timer through the transfusion, so a reaction is caught early.
It does not crossmatch or issue blood — the blood bank does that; this app only checks the bag against the patient at the bedside and watches the transfusion after.
