What PsychMetrics does

Standardised instruments with licence tracking, guided administration, automatic scoring against norms, and serial interpretation across a course of care.

How you actually use it

  1. Load the instrument you are licensed to useLoad an instrument from its document takes the code, the name, the item count, the maximum total, the bands written one per line as ‘0-4 minimal’, and the citation naming the document those cut-offs come from — an instrument without that citation is refused.
  2. Administer itFind the patient, choose the instrument and type the item answers separated by spaces or commas; the service totals them itself and refuses a count of answers or a total the instrument does not allow.
  3. Read the score against its own bandsThe history draws the serial totals over the instrument’s severity bands as the tinted ground, and an administration whose self-harm item scored above zero keeps its own mark on the line.
  4. Work the safeguarding listSafeguarding flags is its own card at the top of the screen, listing every administration whose self-harm item scored above zero with the patient, the instrument and the date.
  5. Read a cohort instead of a patientPopulation takes an instrument, a date window and an optional age range — counted at each patient’s age on the day of administration — and returns the administrations, the patients, the band distribution and the flagged count, with the basis printed under them.
