What MortuaryDesk does

Death declaration to body release as one flow: MCCD (Form 4) with cause-chain validation, MLC branching where required, cold-room custody with time limits, and release to verified next of kin with documents complete.

How you actually use it

  1. Open the death recordThe patient, or a description of an unidentified person; when and where (ward, ICU, ER, brought dead); and the MLC it is linked to, if any.
  2. CertifyThe MCCD takes the immediate cause, with antecedent and underlying causes where known. It is written once.
  3. Keep the custody trailTo mortuary and Assign tray append to the trail; nothing is edited. Custody closes when the body is released.
  4. Record police clearance where it is MLC-linkedPolice clearance records the reference; a death that is not MLC-linked has nowhere to put one.
  5. Release the bodyReceiver name, relation and the ID proof seen. Release is refused before certification and, for an MLC-linked death, before the police clearance is on the record.

What it writes

certificatescustody eventsreleases
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not release a body on incomplete documentation, and it does not lose one — custody is scanned, both directions.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
