What it is

Medico-legal cases with mandatory fields enforced, police intimation logged, and a court-ready bundle exportable years later. A POCSO or sexual-assault examination has its own file beside the MLC: seen only by the examining doctor and the colleagues they name, every opening logged on it and never sent to the assistant; the MoHFW 2014 proforma followed part by part in the doctor’s words (cited, not reproduced), the police intimation the law requires before it can be signed, an age estimation when the age is not otherwise documented, each sealed sample handed over, then kept as signed. For a consumer-forum complaint or any open legal matter on ContractsCal, the court bundle lists the documents it needs — treatment record, consents, bills, correspondence — each gathered with where it is kept, ahead of the next hearing.

How it works

Register the caseFind the patient, or describe an unknown person; when it occurred, the nature, who brought them. Register allocates the MLC number.
Stamp the police intimationPolice informed records the station and the time.
Describe the injuriesAdd injury takes a kind and a description; the list is append-only. Record handover notes what was handed over and to whom.
Declare it court-readyThe declaration is refused until the nature, the police stamp and at least one injury are on the record, and it says which is missing. Once declared, nature and injuries are frozen; handovers continue. A POCSO examination is signed the same way on its own private file, and a legal matter’s court bundle is gathered before its hearing.
