What MHCARegisters does

Admission classifications, mental-health review board submissions, restraint linkage (RestraintWatch), and advance directives honoured at the point of admission.

How you actually use it

  1. Record the admission under its classIndependent, supported up to 30 days, supported beyond 30 days, or minor — each named with its section of the Act. A supported admission or a minor’s is refused without a nominated representative’s name and relation.
  2. Cite the board past thirty daysA supported admission beyond thirty days is refused unless a Review board application on the register is cited on it.
  3. Watch the thirty-day cardSupported admissions that have run past thirty days without a review board sit at the top with the days counted.
  4. Record the board’s decisionOn the Review board tab, once a hearing date is on an application, Upheld, Modified or Discharged records the outcome. A board decides once, and not before it has sat.
  5. Read the directives and the returnDirectives lists advance directives, live or revoked. Monthly return counts admissions by class, discharges, boards held, directives and restraints from the register rows each time it loads.

What it reads

What it writes

register entriesboard submissions
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not let a supported-admission review deadline pass without escalation.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
