What TurnClock does

Pressure-risk patients get turn schedules; each turn is logged at the bedside and a missed window escalates before the next one — the pressure-injury bundle, executed.

How you actually use it

  1. Start the schedulePick the admission and the interval, which the service holds between 60 and 240 minutes, and one schedule runs per admission.
  2. Read the boardEach row is the last turn plus the interval against now, in the clinic’s own time, showing how long until it is due or how long it is overdue.
  3. Log the turnPick the new position — supine, left, right, prone or sitting — and whether the skin was checked; the insert compares the previous position in its own WHERE, so repeating a side is refused as a turn that changed nothing.
  4. Read the complianceTurns achieved against turns expected over the trailing twenty-four hours, computed in the SELECT — nothing about being due is stored, so changing the interval re-times the whole ward at once.
  5. Stop it with a reasonStopping asks why and takes only a running schedule, and the turn events themselves are append-only.
