What TariffDesk does

Every payer contract as effective-dated tariff versions; mismatches between charged and contracted surface as arbitration cases.

How you actually use it

  1. Add the payerA payer is a TPA, corporate, government scheme or insurer with a name and a contact; a second payer of the same name is refused because the next tariff is a version, not a duplicate.
  2. Draft a version from a dateA version carries the date it takes effect and a note, numbered under a lock on the payer row so two desks drafting at once queue rather than collide.
  3. Enter the ratesEach line is a service name, an optional code and the agreed rate, and the same service cannot carry two rates in one version.
  4. Publish, and correct by versioningPublish takes an unpublished version that has at least one rate; after that the line editor disappears and every write against it is refused — the honest correction is a new version from a new date.
  5. Note what they actually paidA disagreement records the claim reference, what was expected and what was paid, with the shortfall computed; equal amounts are refused as nothing to arbitrate, and resolving asks how it was settled.
