What it is

The guard’s round, on the record. Each post carries a code printed on the plate beside it, and a checkpoint is recorded by submitting that code — the app finds the post from the code, so a round walked off a list of names in the security office records nothing. A post found not clear carries either words or an incident raised in IncidentIQ, and the round closes only when every live post has been scanned. A round cut short by a real event closes as abandoned, with the reason, and the register shows exactly that.

How it works

Put the posts on the mapName each checkpoint, say which area it is in, and give it the code that goes on the plate at the post.
Start the roundThe guard’s name and the shift. Only one round is open at a time, so two half-walked buildings cannot happen.
Scan at each postEnter the code on the plate. Clear, or an issue with a note — and raise it as an incident when it is worth one.
Close it, or say why notA round closes only when every post has been scanned. Interrupted, it closes as abandoned with the reason on the record.

Rules it keeps

What it does not do, by design. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.

It does not close a round with a post unvisited, and it does not accept a checkpoint without the code that is physically at that post.

It proves whoever recorded the scan had that code — a guard who photographs the plate defeats it, and no software fixes that.

It does not show the codes on the post list, and it holds no camera feed, no access-control door and no visitor register: visitors are VisitorPass, and what was found is IncidentIQ.
